Family Time: Flying Kite!

We went to the park today. We have been going to the park lately. We love the park...It's fun and free! We attempted to fly another kite today. This time it actually flew...but then again it's not made by me! Hearthsong sent us two kites to review, the butterfly and the frog kite. (Review/Giveaway coming soon)

Notice I'm carrying Emma on my lillebaby carrier while flying the kite. Emma loved it! Libby had a great time too. Can't wait to go back again!

The Juppy Baby Walker Review and Giveaway

Emma is growing so fast. I can't believe she is already 7 months old. She's is doing a lot more things now such as sitting, rolling and recently just started crawling. I know soon she will be walking on her own. She is currently using a wheeled walker. It's so exciting to see that she's able to go around the house on her own with the wheeled walker.

But recently I learned that baby walker caused thousands of injuries every year. According to Consumer Product Safety Commission there are thousands of hospital emergency room treated injuries associated with baby walkers for children under 15 months of age. I've also read that it does not even help babies to walk, it actually delays walking.

After looking around for alternative ways to teach babies to walk, I discovered The Juppy. I was thrilled when they sent me one to review.

About The Juppy

The Juppy® Baby Walker is a recommended training aid for teaching your baby how to walk while saving the strain on your back.

The Juppy Baby Walker is a doctor-recommended training aid for helping your child walk sooner and safer. Patent Pending.

Have you ever bend down to hold your baby to walk? I have and after a few minutes I would give up because my back would start hurting...but not anymore thanks to the Juppy! It allows you to stand up straight while teaching your child how to walk. No more bending over!

I have been using The Juppy Baby Walker for a week now. Emma loves to use it. The first time we used it she didn't really walked, instead she kept on jumping. But after a few times using it she figured out how to walk with it.

What I love about The Juppy
  • Very easy to put on. Putting Emma in it is very easy. It is like putting a pants on her.
  • Compact and Lightweight. It is small enough to carry with you anywhere. It can fit in a diaper bag easily without taking up space. It also comes with a pouch for storage.
  • The straps are adjustable. I really like that you can easily adjust the straps. It can be use for tall people and short people like me (I'm only 5 feet).
  • The fabric is durable and washable.
  • One size fits all and Unisex. I love this feature because babies grow up so fast. It might fit them now but after a month or so they outgrow it. I also like that it can be use for both girls and boys. You can pass it on to someone else when you are done using it or save it for the next baby.
  • Affordable. It only cost $19.99.

Bottom line, I love The Juppy. It makes teaching babies to walk fun compare to a wheeled walker. It is also safer. However, I would love for them to add a padded holder on the straps. I notice after using it for long periods of time my hands start hurting a little bit due to the straps. Emma is a heavy baby! But aside from that, I love The Juppy! I definitely recommend it!

Baby Formula Savings Calculator

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

Emma is formula fed. I only breastfed her for a couple months. We were using Similac until a couple of months ago we decided to switch to store brand, Berkeley & Johnson. Similac was getting too expensive even after using coupons.

I used to think that using store brand formula was not as good as Similac or Enfamil. Until I compared them. After comparing them side to side Enfamil and Berkeley & Johnson is completely the same and with very little difference with Similac. Emma took it well with no problem. She did not noticed the change. By switching to store brand we are paying less than half compared to Similac!

There are different store brand formulas out there, including Parent's Choice. I personally have not tried it yet. But if you are looking for a store brand formula, definitely check them out. You can visit their website to learn more about their different type of formulas they offer. You can use the Parent's Choice Formula Finder or take the survey and see which formula is best for you and your baby!

You can also use the Parent's Choice Savings Calculator to see how much you could be saving if you switch. You can see below how much I will be saving using Parent's Choice instead of Similac. I could be saving almost $42 a month or $600 a year!

"I AM EVERYWEAR" - Fun at the Beach

I can't believe the I am EveryWear 30 day Challenge is almost over. I was one of the 50 moms/dads to try the lillebaby carrier for free. I have been using it everyday and "everywear" for a month now! We've taken it to the park (many times), the zoo and the beach. I have not left home without it. It makes grocery shopping so much easier with a baby and a toddler.

My favorite features of lillebaby carrier:
  • I can wear it 5 different ways: cradle, front face in, front face out, back and hip. Emma loves to be carried front facing out!
  • Lightweight and it folds compact compare to my other carriers. It can easily fit in my diaper bag.
  • Shoulder is well padded. I've carried Emma with it for hours and has not hurt my shoulder or back.
  • I love the pockets. I can store my keys, wallet and phone.
  • I'm able to carry Olivia in back position.
  • This is the only carrier that my husband does not mind using.
A few days ago we went to the beach. It was the first time we took them there. Olivia and Emma loved it, specially Olivia. She did not want to go home that day!

NEW Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner Review

I recently had a chance to try the new Dove Daily Treatment Conditioners (Daily Moisture Daily Treatment Conditioner and Intensive Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner). You use it just like you would normally use a conditioner. After shampooing, apply a quarter size and leave for one minute before rinsing.

About Dove Hair Care Products

All the Dove Hair Care products have been reformulated (with Fiber Actives) to take care damage hair. The formula with patented Micro Moisture serum and new Fiber Actives protects against and repairs hair damage for beautifully smooth hair.

The NEW Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner provides the nourishment of a treatment, in the time it takes to condition your hair for instant smoothness. It is also Dove’s most advanced repair technology ever!

I really like how the Intensive Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner made my hair feels. I felt a difference on my hair after using it only once. I really like that I don't have to leave it in for a long time, unlike other intensive conditioner treatment I've used in the past. My hair felt nice and soft after each shower.

I'm usually not brand loyal. I use different types of shampoos and conditioners. I buy which ever brand is on sale or cheap with coupons. But the Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner is definitely worth paying the full price. I will be stocking up when they goes on sale!

You can visit dovehair.com for more Dove Hair Care product information. You can also enter for a chance to win a visit to the Glee set, special Glee tour rehearsal performances by Lea Michele, get exclusive footage from the Glee tour and hair care messages from celebrity stylist Gretta Monahan!

Say “goodbye” to dirty and smelly shoes! Pediped Review

I recently had a chance to review a pair of Pediped shoes for Olivia. This was her first pair of shoes from Pediped footwear and definitely will not be the last.

I was sent a pair of Joelle shoe to review. It is one of their Flex line. They are soft and has flexible soles. One of the most comfortable pair of shoes Olivia owns. It actually make me wish a I have a pair of my own. It comes with an additional 2mm insole to help customize the fit since each child is different. Right now the size is just perfect for her with the insoles. Eventually when her feet grows I can remove it and it will still fit her. Making this shoes last longer compare to her other pair of shoes. It also has a velcro for closure making it easy to put on and adjusting the fit.

Their Flex line also has heel cushion which is great for active kids. Their feet is protected against impact and it distribute pressure through-out the foot. I can see why Pediped footwear is approved by the American Podiatric Medical Associations for contributing healthy foot development for children.

Another reason to love this shoes is that they are washable! They are made with Clarino, a wash-and-wear fabric that’s virtually indestructible. You simply throw it in the washing machine and air dry! How cool is that?

They have also added a new feature called DRYZ. DRYZ® is a specially-formulated, odor resistant insole that controls both moisture and temperature. Same version of these insoles sell online for $15.99 but they are included free in some of Pediped's shoes, including the pair I reviewed.

Freschetta Pizza Review

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.

In our home we love pizza night. Pizza night could be any night when my husband and I don't feel like cooking. We are not a fan of frozen pizza. We usually order out. I buy them once in a while when they are on sale and if I have coupons for them but not often.

Recently I had a chance to try Freschetta's frozen pizza. I love flatbread pizza's so I tried those first. It comes in four varieties including Zesty Italian, Roasted Garlic & Spinach, Pepperoni and 5 cheese. My family tried all of them and we love it! I was really suprise because like I said we are not a huge fan of frozen pizza. But the Freschetta FlatBread are delicious! The crust was nice and thin. It only took about 8 minutes and it was ready to eat.

Did you know all their ingredients are ALL NATURAL? Maybe that's why they are so good! The ingredients, toppings, cheese tasted fresh unlike other frozen pizza I've tasted. They taste like home made, even better than delivery pizza. I definitely recommend it.

Would you like to try one? This week it is on sale at Pathmark for $5.99. You can go online and get a coupon for $1 off at http://www.freschetta.com/thin-crust-pizzas/flatbread-pizza/default.aspx.

Eleven Collection Review and Giveaway

See Kai Run is one of my favorite shoes for Olivia. She owns a couple of pairs and it's by far her favorite shoes. I'm a little sad to say goodbye to them because she no longer fits the sizes See Kai Run offers. But I'm happy to know that I can still give her the same quality shoes we love from SKR through their sister company, Eleven Collection.

I was sent their Juni White shoes for Olivia to review. I am in love with it the moment I saw it. I was not surprise because I knew they will be just as great as See Kai Run. The quality of the shoes is amazing. Eleven shoes are made to last. You can tell the leather is high quality made. It is durable and the rubber soles are flexible. It is very comfortable to wear. It has cushioned insole and padded collar for extra comfort. Olivia can run, jump, and climb with it on all day. Their shoes also has no break-in period. The added details of the flower cut outs makes it even cuter. Another feature that I love about this shoes is that it has adjustable velcro closure making it easy to get on. She is able to put on and take off the shoes without any help.

Not only they are comfortable but they are also stylish and adorable! It makes me want to get all their shoes for Olivia! I usually would not even consider buying $50 shoes for her but with the Eleven shoes, it is so worth it! Why buy half the price for something that will not last and also gives your child sore feet!

I love shopping at

This set is perfect for Olivia. The size is perfect for her little hands. Her favorite is Ernie. Each one comes with an instructions how to build them. The instructions also comes with other ways you can build with it. She's able to put everything on her own with very little help. I love that it comes with a canister for storage and for easy clean up when she's done playing. She can also take it along with her when visiting grandma.

And just as their name suggests, Crawler moves by creeping along on four legs, Speedy moves with lightning quickness on wheels, Scooter moves by scooting along, and Hopper moves by jumping. You can even combine them to build an even bigger motorized robot!

This set was a little advance for Olivia. My nephew had a chance to build this and he enjoyed playing with it and so did my husband. The pieces are very tiny, so your kids have to be very careful not losing any pieces. It comes with an instruction that is very easy to follow. It took about half an hour to build each one. They are the coolest building set I ever seen. However, I wish they come with a storage holder. I have been using zip-locks to keep them separated and to prevent losing pieces.

Includes instructions and ideas for 20 models or use your imagination to dream up your own creations.
