KettleWorx: Week One

Since I am only 5 feet, my ideal healthy weight should be 114 pounds or between 102 to 127. Before I had kids I was only 105 pounds and I gained 20 pounds after. I have been trying to lose that weight for who knows how long.

When I heard about KettleWorx, I was intrigued. They guarantee total body transformation in just six weeks, 20 minutes 3 times a week! This program is perfect for a busy mom like me. It does not require hours of exercise or diet restriction. I know I have to try it!

I was sent the KettleWorx Ultra 5 to review, which includes the following:
  • 4 DVDs: Intro, Cardio, Core, Resistance.
  • A FREE 5-pound kettlebell – KettleWorx Premium Kettlebell
  • The Ultimate Body Sculpting Collection – on 4 DVDs
  • Fast Abs – 1 DVD
  • Fast Fat Burn – 1 DVD
  • Fat Free in 42 – a 6 week healthy eating guide (e-Book format)

Last week I did Week #1. Honestly, I was not sure which one to start first, Cardio, Core, or the Resistance. I decided to do Resistance first. Which I'm glad I did because I find it much easier compare to the other two. The routines are much easier to follow. After finishing the Resistance DVD, I knew this program will definitely work for me. I never enjoyed exercising this much before. It was fun and I felt great after.

The Core DVD was a challenge for me. I didn't make it to all the routines but most I did. It felt like the longest 20 minute! The Cardio was a lot of fun. I could not believe how much I was sweating after just doing a 20 minute work out. It was awesome! I also did Fast Abs on my first week.

So far I lost 2 pounds in one week with KettleWorx. It may not be a lot but I can already feel the difference on how my body looks. My legs are more toned. I also notice my waist is a bit smaller. I feel great. I even started wearing shorts again :)

  3. Sounds like one for me to look into! Going almost vegan isn't helping me shed perimenopausal pounds as fast as I'd like.
