New SoftBums Omni Diaper Review and Giveaway!

SoftBums has a new diaper called OMNI Diaper and I was lucky to be one of the first to review it. Even though I'm new to cloth diapering I've already tried many kinds, from pockets, AIOs, AI2s and fitteds. I've tried them all. But OMNI diaper is definitely one of a kind. It's a Multi-purpose Pocket. You can use it as a Pocket diaper or as an All-in-2 or Hybrid. You can even use it as a cover!

I was sent the Sprout color (green) with 2 Dry-touch pods. They also have an Organic Bamboo Pods. It's very easy to use. You simply snap the pod in the back. The snaps prevents shifting or moving. You can also use it as a pocket diaper. You can customize the absorbency by adding more inserts if you have a heavy wetter. However, I find that the Dry-touch pods is super absorbent and I did not need any extra inserts. I've used it at nap time and bedtime without any leaking.

I love the pods. It is unique. I never seen one like it. It's contoured to fit perfectly inside the diaper. It keeps the shell clean. One of the things I don't like about some other AI2s are that most of the time the shell cannot be reuse because it gets easily soiled because their inserts are not wide and there's a space between them so it shifts or bunches up. But with SoftBums Omni diaper, I have not had that problem.

It also has the easy Slide2Size leg adjustments, available only in SoftBums diapers. This makes it able to fit the tiniest baby as small as 5 lbs, and as large as a 35 toddler too. You can easily customize the fit. A lot of one size diaper claim it can fit a newborn, but honestly many of them are just too big for a newborn. Compared to my other one size diaper, Omni diaper's smallest size is the tiniest. This diaper can truly fit a 5 lbs baby!

Also because it uses the Slide2Size leg adjustments instead of the using snaps to adjust the size, it is much trimmer compare to my other diapers. Actually, it's the TRIMMEST of all my one size diapers! You don't get that bulk in the front. It fits perfect! The only thing is that I Emma and Libby can't share it. Otherwise I have to keep adjusting. But that's ok because Libby is almost potty trained!
