Katydid Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

When I first started cloth diapering, I did not think it would be possible to use pocket diapers and hand wash. I thought my only option was to use All -in-twos because they are easier to hand wash...I was totally wrong.

Katydid diaper was my first pocket diaper that I tried and thanks to Katydid diaper, I am in love with pockets diapers. They are simple and easy to use. I have three kinds of AI2's and my husband gets frustrated and confuse which insert to use. But with pocket diapers he doesn't have to worry what goes with what as long as I have it ready for him.

After one month of using cloth diapers, I have tried quite a few brands of pocket diapers and Katydid is definitely one of my favorites for many reasons. Not just because it's the first one I've tried.

One of the main reason I love Katydid diaper is because it fits great! It's a one size diaper and it fits Emma (20 lbs) and Libby (35 lbs) perfectly. It's also very trim. The inner layer is micro-fleece and it is very soft. It wicks away moisture, which keeps my baby feeling dry and comfortable. It has a wide front pocket opening and it's very easy to stuff. It washes well also. I love how the poop just rolls off to the toilet easily. For one month using cloth, I did not have a sprayer and this diaper was one of my favorite because it's so easy to clean. I never had any stains on this diaper.

We also never had any leak. It's very absorbent. We've used it to go out and for nap and never used more than one inserts. I also prefer using Katydid diaper to go out because of the wrap and snap feature. You can fold soiled diaper by snapping the tabs to seal the mess. You can put it in your diaper bag without worrying your other things get dirty. Specially helpful when you forget your wet bag.

Aside from being easy to wash it also dries quickly. Which is so important to me because we do not have washer and dryer. This diaper also comes with two inserts, a newborn and a full size adjustable inserts. So you will never need another diaper because this diaper grows with your baby.
