The Juppy Baby Walker Review and Giveaway

Emma is growing so fast. I can't believe she is already 7 months old. She's is doing a lot more things now such as sitting, rolling and recently just started crawling. I know soon she will be walking on her own. She is currently using a wheeled walker. It's so exciting to see that she's able to go around the house on her own with the wheeled walker.

But recently I learned that baby walker caused thousands of injuries every year. According to Consumer Product Safety Commission there are thousands of hospital emergency room treated injuries associated with baby walkers for children under 15 months of age. I've also read that it does not even help babies to walk, it actually delays walking.

After looking around for alternative ways to teach babies to walk, I discovered The Juppy. I was thrilled when they sent me one to review.

About The Juppy

The Juppy® Baby Walker is a recommended training aid for teaching your baby how to walk while saving the strain on your back.

The Juppy Baby Walker is a doctor-recommended training aid for helping your child walk sooner and safer. Patent Pending.

Have you ever bend down to hold your baby to walk? I have and after a few minutes I would give up because my back would start hurting...but not anymore thanks to the Juppy! It allows you to stand up straight while teaching your child how to walk. No more bending over!

I have been using The Juppy Baby Walker for a week now. Emma loves to use it. The first time we used it she didn't really walked, instead she kept on jumping. But after a few times using it she figured out how to walk with it.

What I love about The Juppy
  • Very easy to put on. Putting Emma in it is very easy. It is like putting a pants on her.
  • Compact and Lightweight. It is small enough to carry with you anywhere. It can fit in a diaper bag easily without taking up space. It also comes with a pouch for storage.
  • The straps are adjustable. I really like that you can easily adjust the straps. It can be use for tall people and short people like me (I'm only 5 feet).
  • The fabric is durable and washable.
  • One size fits all and Unisex. I love this feature because babies grow up so fast. It might fit them now but after a month or so they outgrow it. I also like that it can be use for both girls and boys. You can pass it on to someone else when you are done using it or save it for the next baby.
  • Affordable. It only cost $19.99.

Bottom line, I love The Juppy. It makes teaching babies to walk fun compare to a wheeled walker. It is also safer. However, I would love for them to add a padded holder on the straps. I notice after using it for long periods of time my hands start hurting a little bit due to the straps. Emma is a heavy baby! But aside from that, I love The Juppy! I definitely recommend it!

  80. I visited The Juppy website and learned that American Academy of Pediatrics has called for a ban of baby walkers with wheels. If I win, this would be for my son & husband. My hubby is 6'4 so bending over to help our LO walk would be rough for him!
