Today Emma is four months old. I can't believe how much she has grown. She's already 16 pounds. She's drinking 7 oz. every four hours and sleeping 10 hours straight at night. She's a really good baby and has not given us a hard time. Actually I'm a little guilty for not giving her as much attention as I would like to. Olivia is very demanding of our time. She gets jealous when Emma is being carried. I guess that's what happens when you have a toddler and an infant.
I don't think Olivia is used to having Emma around yet. However, I'm glad that she has not tried to harm her baby sister. Actually she does not go near Emma often. I try to include her on Emma's care such as offering her to help me feed Emma or to help me change the diaper. But she does not want anything to do with it. She'll simply say "NO THANKS." I just hope that one day that will change. I really want them to be close.

Oh she is sooooo precious, I LOVED watching this!
ReplyDeleteEvery age and stage so wonderful...I am thinking of my baby who's now 13 months as I am watching this. It's so cliche, but they grow so fast!
ReplyDeleteAwww, our little girls share the same birthday. My Gianna turned 4 months yesterday as well! We have her 4 month appointment today, but I'm thinking she weighs about 16 pounds as well. I also have a 2.5 year old that isn't happy with not being the center of attention any more. I so know how you feel about not spending as much time with the baby as you would like... Beautiful video!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!! I have two girls as well!! Bella is two and Gigi is almost 4 months. Thankfully, Bella was into baby dolls before Gigi was born and so she thought having a real, live baby in the house was awesome!! She's still just smitten with the baby. I'm so thankful! Just give it time - I'm sure they'll be close as they get older.
