Earth Baby sent me Organic Forget Me Knot Hair Detangler to review. This is my first time using organic shampoo for my daughter. I picked the detangler to review because I always have a hard time combing my daughter's hair even after using detangler shampoos. After she's dressed from a bath, she would ran away from me because she hates her hair being combed. I don't blame her. It is painful.

My Review
I really love the Organic Forget Me Knot Hair Detangler for my daughter's hair. It leaves her hair very soft, shiny and tangle free. Combing and brushing her hair has never been this easy. No knots all day even after she wakes up in the morning! My husband, who does the bathing, really likes using this also. He likes the smell compare to other shampoos we have been using.
Earth Baby also sells shampoos, lotion, bath gel, diaper rash cream, baby wipes and many more. I would love to try their baby wipes and their diaper rash cream for Emma.
Overall we love this product and would recommend it. The only thing that would stop me to continue using it is the price. The 6 oz bottle that I was sent cost $15. I know the price is expected because it is organic. But realistically, we can not afford this shampoo for my daughter, specially all her shampoos cost me almost nothing (I bought them using coupons) If money was not an issue, I would definitely continue using this and will try their other products as well since I am sure they are all great.
Disclaimer: I received product sample mentioned above. NO other payment was given.
This is my honest opinion yours may be different.
Ok Earth Baby might hate me forever for this but oh well, us moms have to stick together.
ReplyDeleteGo out and buy whatever tear free conditioner you can afford (or heck get the regular kind and teach her to close her eyes when you spray) get a spray bottle and some tea tree oil too (tiny little bottle of tea tree oil is barely $2- $3 for 2 full oz, will last you all year or longer)
Pour about 2 ounces of the conditioner into the spray bottle (about 2 tablespoons or 1/8 of a cup)
Add a FEW drops of tea tree oil (seriously only 2-3 drops of this stuff, the smell is strong)
You can buy and add lavender oil if you'd like too, I love it for my kids hair and I add about 3-6 drops of that.
Fill the rest of the bottle up with water. Plain old tap water works just fine.
Shake well, spray on her hair and brush.
The tea tree oil has an added benefit: Lice hate it. Which means every time you get a letter home from her school saying someone in her class has lice chances are you won't have to worry about it with her =)
If you have questions feel free to email me. I hope that helps!
