Happy Heinys One Size Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

I'm not a huge fan of Aplix. I prefer snaps in my cloth diapers. After hearing about Aplix wearing out easily and toddlers able to take them off, I decided to stay away from them. So I don't know why I decided to review Happy Heinys in Aplix version instead of the snap...but I am so glad I did! After trying this diaper, I wish a lot of my cloth diapers are in velcro instead of snaps. They are just so much easier to put on and seems like they fit so much better. But then again maybe it's just he Happy Heinys. I can't speak for the other brands of diapers.

I was sent the One Size Happy Heinys cloth diaper and was immediately impressed with the quality of the diaper. I tried this with Emma and Libby and fits them both perfectly. This is actually one of the very few that fits my toddler, 38 pounds very well. Libby was just recently potty trained so this is one of the diaper that she was using. The rest she was using sized diapers because none of the one size fits her. It also does not leave any red marks on her skin.

I really like how it fits both my daughter very well. It's pretty trim also. It's one of the trimmest one size diaper I have. I also don't have a problem with Emma taking off the velcro. The velcro is pretty soft and seems like it does not bother her. I hand was my diapers and hang them to dry so I don't how well the laundry tabs work. But to me, it is pretty strong and I don't think it would come off.

I have used this diaper to go out, nap and bedtime. I never had any leak during her 2 to 3 hours nap with just one insert. During bedtime I have to add the newborn/booster and it usually hold up pretty well unless she drank a lot of fluid the night before or if she sleeps more than 8 hours, then I would have some leaking. But never had a leak that actually soaked our bed sheet!

Overall I'm pretty happy with it. Most of my diapers consist of Rumparooz but if I have a choice I would probably prefer the Happy Heinys because I know it will fit my kids until potty trained. I had to buy some sized diaper for Libby because at 33 pounds she did not fit in a lot of our one size diaper.

Another reason to love them? They have so many colors and cute prints to choose from!
