Time to get rid of those unwanted house guests!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Victor Pest. All opinions are 100% mine.

Lucky for us we live in a newly built house so we don't have any rodents problem but I remember having them in our old house. And I can't imagine having my kids expose to them. I remember my parents tried a lot of things to keep them away and to keep them from coming back but none ever worked.

I was recently introduced to Victor, which offers quality rodent control products that are affordable. I never personally tried them but wished my parents did when we were living in our old house.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated S1 V1 DVD Review

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated S1 V1,available for the first time on DVD January 25, 2011, from Warner Home Video (WHV). Featuring episodes from the newest incarnation of the popular Scooby-Doo franchise Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated from Warner Bros. Animation, which currently airs Mondays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network this edgier, bolder adaptation of the legendary cartoon finds our favorite pals Daphne, Fred, Velma and Shaggy, along with the mystery-solving Scooby-Doo, investigating strange occurrences in their hometown of Crystal Cove. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated S1 V1 will feature the first four episodes of the series and will retail for $14.97 SRP.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated premiered as the #1 show on Cartoon Network with kids 6–11 and continues to be #1 in its time period among key demos. In the series, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo are back, solving mysteries in the spooky town of Crystal Cove, a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep sea divers. Because of all the paranormal activity, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot that capitalizes on its haunted reputation and the gang's meddling is therefore not appreciated by the people of Crystal Cove.

Each episode features a new mystery and it's up to the gang to solve it. In addition, there's a season-long mystery that the gang is uncovering along the way...a mystery that will change their lives forever once they've solved it. But the drama isn't limited to paranormal activities — the gang, portrayed as teens, deal with situations that arise within their families and in their personal relationships within the group.

Featured Episodes in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated S1 V1:

Ø "Beware the Beast from Below"

Ø "The Creeping Creatures"

Ø "Secret of the Ghost Rig"

Ø "Revenge of the Man Crab"

Executive produced by Sam Register, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated draws on the iconic look and feel of the original Scooby-Doo series and is presented in a modernized visual style created by some of today's leading animation artists. Each episode is presented like a miniature movie. The series' dramatic, cinematic visuals allow for added depth in each story, while still allowing the show's comedic tones to shine through.

"Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated S1 V1 is a real throwback to the original Scooby-Doo with spectacular, dramatic effects that grab the viewer's attention," said Amit Desai, WHV Vice President of Family, Animation & Partner Brands Marketing. He added, "Scooby-Doo is just as popular with kids and adults today as it was when it first debuted on TV. We are pleased to release this exciting, new adaptation of the series to consumers. This is a must-have title for Scooby-Doo fans and for anyone who appreciates great animation."

I had a chance to preview the new Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, season 1 Vol.1 DVD before it was released on January 25, 2011. Growing up, I was a huge fan of Scooby-Doo. But honestly I have not seen one for years. I don't even remember when was the last time I saw it again. So I was pretty excited to see it and introduce the show to my my kids. It is suggested for kids a littler older, 8 and up and my kids are one and 3 so I was not sure if my kids will like it.

It was pretty cool watching the show. I actually enjoyed it. My kids however did not care for it much. Libby was scared and keep saying it's scary mommy and wants to turn it off. But if your kids are a little older, they will definitely enjoy it. I will be keeping this DVD for sure and introduce it to her again when she's a little older.

KiKi's Maternity Fashions Review and Giveaway

I did not buy a lot of maternity clothes when I was pregnant with Libby and Emma. I did not want to spend a fortune for something I will only use for a few months. I wish I would have known about Kiki's Maternity Fashions. They have cheap maternity clothes that's cute and trendy. I would have never thought maternity clothes can be affordable.

While browsing their site, I knew I wanted to get a dress. I never bought a maternity dress before so I was really excited to try one of their maternity dresses. They had so many cute dresses to choose from. I decided to review the Teal Short Sleeve Maternity Dress.

I was really impressed when I received it. I can't believe it is so cheap. It is only $19.99. The quality is not the best I've seen but definitely it is a good quality....way better than I expected. As a matter of fact I am really happy with it that I am planning to buy the same dress in purple color. I love the fit. It is made of stretchy material and feels really soft. I feel comfortable wearing it and I can wear it not only this winter with tights but also in the spring and summer. It washes well also. It is just as soft as I got it after a couple of washes.

My little artist...

Libby loves to draw and paint. For the past months I have seen so much improvement on her drawing skills. For a 3 year old I think she's pretty talented...she definitely got it from her dad. I tried to keep all her drawings but there are just too many! So I've decided to just take pictures of her artworks instead. I'll be posting them here also...

PATRICK HRUBY MEMORY GAME and CHARLEY HARPER NESTING BLOCKS Review

I recently had a chance to review a couple of products from AMMO Books, the PATRICK HRUBY MEMORY GAME and the CHARLEY HARPER NESTING BLOCKS.

About AMMO BOOKS
AMMO Books publishes exciting, one-of-a-kind visually charged books that always get noticed. We create "must-have" books with amazing design, thoughtful writing, and exquisite printing. We've built both an eclectic list and dedicated audience - one great book at a time!

My kids have been playing with this nesting blocks for a couple of months now. I would say this is one of their favorite toys. I'm surprise it has not fell apart yet because they play with it almost everyday. It's been about two months and they are not yet tired from playing with it. They love stacking and then kicking it after. I like that both of them are able to play together. I do have to admit sometimes Libby does not like Emma to play with it because she kicks it before every blocks are stacked up. It is actually pretty funny watching them because after the little one kicks, she runs away because she knows Libby will push her away!

I really like that the illustrations are bright and colorful. It's also very durable. It is very easy to put away and does take a lot of space. I don't even mind keeping it in our living room instead of the playroom.

I remembered how much I love to play memory game when I was younger. Libby likes playing with memory game also but on my iPhone. So I was excited to have a chance to review this. The illustration is just like the nesting block, they are unique, bright and colorful. It came with 36 pairs. That was too many for her so we played the recommended amount for younger kids which is nine pairs or fewer. Libby loves playing with it also but what I hate is that she wants to play with all of them and then the little one makes a mess. We don't play it often for that reason. Sometimes I let her play on the table, away from Emma. I'm sure they will love this when they get older, when they both can play with it together. What I like about this memory game is that it has a box for easy storage.

My Ultimate Getaway....

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

The last time my husband and I traveled or stayed in a hotel without the kids was on our Honeymoon. Since then we have not gone out by ourselves without the kids. In fact I don't even remember going out for dinner or movie with out them. Having no babysitter has a lot to do with it and actually we don't mind having them around. Of course there are times that I wish we can have a night just the two of us. Specially Valentines Day is just around the corner.

The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel sounds like the ultimate getaway. I personally never been there but I have been to many Hilton Hotels and I'm sure it is just as great. And since Valentines is coming up they are offering Romance Package for the whole month of February. During your stay  you'll enjoy early check-in and pre-registration, in-room sparkling wine, access to hotel health club, pool and whirlpool spa. It also comes with Full American breakfast for two or you can exchange your breakfast for discounted lunch or dinner .

Sounds great right? As for now we don't have any plans for Valentine's Day....But I can dream right?? :)
