Holiday Gift Guide: Febreze Home Collection + Giveaway

I recently had a chance to try out some of Febreze Home Collection.

About Febreze Home Collection

The Febreze Home Collection is the brand’s scented décor line offering five new contemporary products - Flameless Luminaries, Soy Candles, Scented Reed Diffusers, Room Spray, Wooden Wick Candle and the No Spill Wood Diffuser - designed as stylish accents to enhance the scent experience and ambience of any room in the home. The latest extension of the Home Collection line is the No Spill Wood Diffuser. Perfect for hectic households and busy moms, the scented No Spill Wood Diffuser offers an upgrade from the typical reed diffuser and boasts a spill-free design so consumers can enjoy the beauty and scent of Febreze without the worry of spills.

Although I love candles and sprays and probably tried many, I never tried any of Febreeze Home Collection. I was really impressed when I received them. They are great quality and if I would have not known, I would not have thought they are Febreeze. They look and smell just like any of the expensive brand I tried.

My favorite is the No Spill Wood Diffuser in Honeysuckle Orchid scent. It smells wonderful! It refreshes any room, worry free. The unique WoodWick design diffuses the scent of the oil into the air through its stylish wooden lid. And even if it is tipped on its side, the No Spill Wood Diffuser never spills the scented oil from within. And they will last for a long time!

I also love the Flameless Luminary. I tried the anjou pear spice scent and love them also. I love that they add accents to your home with scent and style. It comes with decorative, scented shades that let a flickering light shine through. Then for something fresh and new, simply replace your scented shades with the latest scents and designs.

Holiday Gift Guide: Little Green Books (Updated with Giveaway!)

I've said it before and I'll say it again..My kids love books! They have tons of them and I don't mind buying them more because they love reading. They don't know how to read yet but they enjoy having their dad and I read them books. That is why children's books are my favorite products to review on this blog.

I was really excited when Little Green Books sent me some of their books. Little Green Books is a new eco-friendly books from Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing Division. Each of their books is devoted to educating children about the benefits of being green. Their books not only teaches to be "green" they are also environmentally friendly. They are printed on recycled materials with vegetable or soy inks.

They sent me several of their books and Libby and Emma love them! I really like them too! I am impressed with the quality of the book. They are very durable and well made. I would not even think they printed on recycled materials. They can definitely withstand a lot of reading and abuse by a toddler! I don't see them falling apart anytime soon. In fact we had it for more than a month and they still look brand new!

This Is Our World: A Story About Taking Care of the Earth.
This book is Libby's favorite because it comes with 9 double-sided puzzle pieces. She can create two different puzzles. This book teaches your child how to have a clean air, reduce pollution, and recycle in a very simple and fun way that kids, even a 3 year old can understand.

Don't Throw That Away!: A Lift-the-Flap Book about Recycling and Reusing
This is another book that Libby really likes. I teaches kids how to recycle and what things can be reuse. She loves lifting the flap. This is definitely a fun book!

What Do You See?: A Lift-the-Flap Book About Endangered Animals
This is another favorite book Libby loves to read all the time. I would think she would be tired of reading this book because she already knows what animal is hiding but nope! She still ask me all the time to read her this book. Another great thing about this books is it is made of 100% recycled material.

My First Garden
This is not one of Libby's favorite but I really like this book because it has a handle die-cut through on every page so kids can take the book with them wherever they go and they are cute. I also like the story. It's about mother and daughter making their first garden. It also teaches kids colors.

Little Monkey
This book is perfect for Emma. It's a cloth book and made from 50% recycled material. It even came in a 100% recycled box. What's great about this book is it is also machine washable. Great for babies that loves to chew!

Little Panda
Is another cloth book. I really like that both Little Panda and Little Monkey are in the book. The story is very simple and fun!

It's not a surprise why I am including Little Green Books in my Holiday Gift Guide. We love them and highly recommend them!

Holiday Gift Guide: Wall Pops + Giveaway!

We don't own our home. We have been renting for about 4 years now. We like it here but of course we would love to buy and actually "own" a home. Since we are renting, there are things we can't do, such as paint our walls. So pretty much our walls are just plain white. It's pretty dull and boring.

I was recently introduce to WallPops. It's a company that sells peel and stick wall arts. They have so many designs to choose from. I find their prices very affordable compare to other companies that sell wall arts. In fact when I was asked to review and saw their prices, I did not expect a lot from it because of their price.

They sent me two wall art kits, the Flower Power Kit and the Antoinne the Monkey. The first time I saw them, I was really impressed. Their quality is great. It took us a while to decide where to stick them. My plan was to put them on my daughter's room and their playroom. But my husband wanted it in our living room.

Like I said our apartment is really boring. No paint, nothing on the wall! But thanks to WallPops, it's not so boring anymore! We placed the Flower Power Kit in dining area and the Antoinne The Monkey kit by the living room. They were very easy to put together. My 3 years old even helped us put it together. What's so great about them is that if you make a mistake or if you want to change the design you can easily take it off with out any problem. And later on if I change my mind, I can always take them off and put them in my daughter's room or playroom. They are repositionable, and always removable. They don't leave any sticky residue so they won't ruin your walls! The best part is that they are afforable. The Flower Power Kit and the Antoinne the Monkey can be purchase for $31.99.

Wall Pops is giving one of my readers a wall art kit! Visit Wall Pops and tell me your favorite wall art kit.

Babykicks 3g Bumboo Pocket Diaper Review and Giveaway

I'm a huge fan of BabyKicks. I love their Joey-Bunz inserts. Just about any kind of pocket diaper can work as a night time diaper when stuffed with Joey-Bunz and microfiber. I even used it with my gDiapers. It works great together with gCloth. For a few weeks, I used them both together for night time and never had any leak, even without a cover.

I have been wanting to try their pocket diapers for a while now. And I was really excited when they sent me one to review. I knew I was going to love it but it I never expected it to be so much better. The 3g Bumboo Pocket Diaper is awesome! The quality is amazing. It comes with One-Size Joey-Bunz insert and it is so trim and absorbent.

The 3g Bumboo Pocket Diaper is a one size diaper. Emma is 23 pounds and I just love the way it fits her. This diaper fits her like a glove! It is so trim. It's probably one of the trimmest one size diaper I own.

It has Bamboo/Fleece lining. It's made of 30% Certified Organic Cotton and 70% Rayon made from Bamboo. It feels incredibly soft. It's the softest diaper I ever felt. It's been washed many times and it is just as soft as the day I got it.

I really like that the gussets are made of a special fleece material and contain no PUL. It is so gentle and does not leave any red marks at all. But it still does a great job containing all the mess.

This diaper has Side Snaps which eliminates wing drop problem. This is my first side snap diaper so it took a little practice to get use to, but after using it many times, I have gotten used to it and I really like it. I even prefer it because it looks so much attractive not having so many snaps in the front. And because it's a side snap, you can use it as a trainer pants in the future.

Another one of my favorite features of this diaper is that the pocket opening is in front instead of the back. The front pocket eliminates inserts hanging out of the back of the diaper and prevents solids from leaking onto the insert. If you have been following my blog, you know I hand wash all my cloth diapers. I hate it when poop gets in the pocket opening and to the insert. It makes it so much harder to clean.

Overall, I am really impressed with the 3g Bumboo Pocket Diaper. After prepping it right, I had no problem with any leaking. It is super absorbent. I just wish it would fit my 38 pounds daughter. This diaper is suppose to fit 7 pounds to 40 pounds. But I could not snap it on Libby. It would probably go up to 35 but not 40. But aside from that I am happy with this diaper. And highly recommend it! They also have BabyKicks Organic Fitted, which I would love to try also.

Holiday Gift Guide: Kyocera S2300 from Common Cents Mobile Review

I never owned a prepaid phone before until recently when I was asked to review one. I was sent the Kyocera S2300 from Common Cents Mobile to review. I was really impressed how affordable to own a prepaid phone without any contract. The Kyocera S2300 has so many features, such as Bluetooth, text messaging, email, IM, Google Maps, Mobile Web, Picture Messaging and so much more! It has a full QWERTY keyboard which makes text messaging, emailing and web browsing so much easier! And it only cost $69.77! No contract!

With Common Cents, you pay just 7¢ per minute, and after the first full minute, they will Round Down your talk time to the nearest minute. So if you talked for 2 minutes and 50 seconds, you will only charge 2 minutes. You're not losing any minutes or money! With other companies, they round your calls up to the nearest minute so instead you will get charge 3 minutes!

Common Cents has different Pay As You Go Plans starting at just $10 per month. You just have to keep it active by adding $10 every 15 days, $20 every 30 days or at least $30 every 60 days. If not your account will become inactive. If you don't want to deal with multiple refills you can add $150 to remain active in one year.

I really like the idea of Common Cents. I like the rounding down minutes. I also like that their phones are affordable. You can get a phone for as low as less than $20. However, I wish $20 will expire longer, maybe 60 days instead of 30 days. Otherwise, I think they are great for kids or elderly who doesn't use the phone too often. They are also great to give as gifts, specially for this Christmas.
