Pillow Pets Review and Giveaway

I recently had the opportunity to review Pillow Pets. Olivia have seen the commercial many times before so she knew exactly what it is. She even sings the song "it's a pillow..it's a pet" every time she sees the commercial. When I found out I was going to review one, I showed her all the different kinds of Pillow Pets to let her pick, all 30 of them! It took her a while to decide which one to pick and eventually picked Squeaky Dolphin.

About Pillow Pets

Since 2003, Pillow Pets have been bringing smiles to faces of all ages. The concept for the snuggly companions was the brainchild of a San Diego-based mother of two, who had grown tired of picking up stuffed animals strewn across her children’s rooms. What began with the simple goal of transforming a simple stuffed animal into a functional item for children has grown into an amazing jungle of popular retail and wholesale products. For more information, please visit www.GetPillowPets.com.

Olivia was very excited when she saw it. It is amazingly soft. I did not expect it to be big. It is just the right size for a stuffed animal and perfect size for a pillow. Transforming it from Squeaky Dolphin to a pillow is super easy. Olivia can even do it on her own. I really like that there is a piece of fabric that can be place over the velcro when it is transformed to a pillow. It keeps anything else for sticking to it, such as hairs!

I usually do not buy my kids stuffed animals because they usually get very dirty over time and most of them are not washable. But with Pillow Pets, I don't have to worry because they are machine washable!

For just $19.95 it is the perfect gift for any occasions! Any child would love to have a pillow pet!

Sponsored Post: Medical Alert System

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Medical Guardian. All opinions are 100% mine.
Dxs62pen

As a nurse for five years I have seen a lot of falls in elderly. Most of them usually live on their own. That is why it is very important to educate them ways they can do to prevent falls.

Some preventative measures are keeping your floor from any clutters to prevent tripping over objects on the floor. Some prescription medications that causes dizziness, lightheaded or sleepy can also contribute to falls so make sure you are aware of side effects. Other things they can do is to wear proper footwear, installing rubber mat on their tub and making sure they have proper lighting throughout their home. Most are obvious but many can overlook.

Those are just a few of many they can do to prevent falls. But sometimes no matter how much precautions you make, falls can happen. Thanks to Medical Alert System, help is available anytime. This is specially helpful when your loved one lives on their own. Proper and immediate care can save lives! You can go to Medical Guardian to learn more about Medical Alert System.

Medical Alert System gives you peace of mind that incase of emergency, someone is available to help them. It also allows elderly to live independently.

Cleanoz Review and Giveaway

I don't have any problem using nasal bulb syringe. They work great for as long my kids let me suction them. The problem is they won't let me. I usually need my husband to hold them down and it involves a lot of screaming and crying.

I've used the same (green) bulb syringe for more than 2 years now. I've used it when Olivia was born and now again I'm using it for Emma. It works great, I just don't like that you cannot clean it well. And to be honest I don't always clean it after each use. And no matter how much I cleaned it, I can never sure if it is completely clean.

When Olivia and Emma was both sick, I could not stand letting them use the same bulb syringe. It was like letting them share germs! While searching for my other options, I came across Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator. I took my chance and I asked them to try their products. I was so thrilled when they agreed. They sent me their Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator Kit along with their Single Use Saline Nasal Spray and some Replacement Tips to review.

About the Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator Kit

Cleanoz® Nasal Aspirator Kit™ was developed by a Pediatric (Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist) for the special needs of newborns, infants and toddlers. Its innovative, hygienic design and technically-passages. Its ergonomic dolphin design also makes it much easier and more convenient for parents to use. Cleanoz® is the first and only battery-powered babies' nasal aspirator to use disposable reservoir nozzles. The Disposable Tips have been specially designed to eliminate bacteria build-up inside the mechanism to safeguard children from potentially harmful germs. No Cross Contamination!

Once the battery is in, the Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator is ready to use. You just put the tip inside and press the button to suction which causes the balloon to inflates. Once it is completely inflated you can deflate it by pressing the edge of the tip to release the air and it's ready to be use again.

My first experience with Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator was not so great. I was frustrated because I could not suction anything. The good thing was Emma did not mind being suctioned because the tip is very soft. But I was very disappointed that it did not work.

Last week Olivia had a terrible cold. She was so congested she needed to be suctioned all the time! I told my husband to try Cleanoz again. And I am really glad I gave it another try. I don't know what he did but now it works GREAT! I don't think I will ever go back to my (green) bulb syringe again! Olivia also did not mind being suctioned with it. Usually she runs away from me but with using the Cleanoz, she was not screaming or crying while being suctioned. It helped her breathe so much better. The next day she was already feeling well.

It is not only comfortable for kids but I also find it much easier and quicker to suction compare to a bulb syringe. It usually takes me a couple of times to suction my kids to get a good result but with the Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator I only have to suction once each their nostrils. Adding the saline drops also makes a lot of difference. It loosen the thick mucus, making it so much easier to suction and more effective.

More reasons to love Cleanoz
  • No Need to Clean it after each use. It saves you a lot of time.
  • The nozzle tips are disposables. No cross contamination. I can use the same aspirator for Olivia and Emma and I don't have to worry about sharing germs.
  • The nozzle tips are soft and flexible. It's comfortable for babies and toddlers.
  • Very easy to use and fun too!
  • The dolphin-shaped make it easy to hold.
Now you can finally say good bye to your old, unsanitary nasal bulb syringes that your kids hate! You can purchase the Cleanoz Nasal Aspirator Kit on their website for $29.99.

Boudreaux's Butt Paste Review

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

I recently had a chance to try Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I was sent a tube of their original diaper rash ointment to review. This is the first time I've tried it for my kids. I've seen it everywhere but I've always thought it was a bit pricey compare to other brand of diaper rash.

I have been trying it for a couple of days now. Emma has no diaper rash or redness on her bottom so I can't tell you exactly that it helps heal rashes. But Boudreaux's Butt Paste has been great for protecting her skin. Usually she gets small spots of redness if her wet diaper is not changed right away. Since using the Boudreaux's Butt Paste, I have not seen any redness.

Things I like about the Boudreaux's Butt Paste
  • It's creamy and it goes on smooth, making it very easy to apply evenly. You will only need a little bit so one tube will last you for a while. It also makes diaper changing fast and easy. Emma does not mind applying one on her .
  • It has a nice pleasant scent. It does not smell like medicine. My current diaper rash has a very strong medicine scent. Sometimes I can't even smell if Emma poop because it covers the odor!
  • It wipes off very easy.
  • It comes in 2 oz bottle. It is small enough to bring it with you everywhere. It can fit easily in your diaper bag.
I'm really glad I had a chance to try it because otherwise I would have never thought of buying it. Now that I have tried it, I definitely recommend it to other moms. They are confident that you will like it too that they offer a free sample of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. You can go to http://www.blairex.com/BLButtPaste.php to request one.
