Another Pillow Pet Giveaway! Plus Promo Code

I'm really excited to have another chance to review another Pillow Pet for my daughter. She loves her Dolphin Pillow Pet and lately she has been asking for the Unicorn Pillow Pet. It was a nice little surprise for her when we came back from our Disney Vacation. She asked me if I bought it for her. Of course I had to be honest and told her that I got it for free :) I told her someone gave it to her because they wanted to know what she likes about the Pillow Pet. And her exact words were "I love it because it is sooo cute and soft and cuddly!"

And she's totally right! Kids just can't get enough of Pillow Pets. They are made of super soft chenille. It has a strap that closes underneath to transform the pillow into a friendly pet. They are great for travel, nap time buddy and all-around cuddly friend! And my favorite feature...they are washable!

Nutella Party!

I was really excited to host a Nutella Party. I grew up eating Nutella and now my daughters love them too. They eat Nutella sandwiches almost every day. Although we have been buying Nutella for years, I never really used it other than as a sandwich spread. I didn't know there are so many recipes I can use Nutella with. Now we eat it with pancakes and crepes! You can visit their website for more recipes.

Nutella are also great if you have kids that are allergic to peanuts. They do not contain peanuts or peanut ingredients. And honestly I like them way better than peanut butter!

I don't think I know anyone that have not tried Nutella before. Most of my families and friends are already a huge fan of Nutella. My niece and nephews love them too! It was nice to share some coupons to them because I know Nutella hardly ever go on sale. I don't usually buy anything full price but Nutella is one of those things I don't mind paying full price for.

Virtual Baby Shower: Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL Car Seat Review and Giveaway

My husband and I have been looking for a car seat that would fit in our car. With 3 kids, still in a car seat we thought our only option was to buy a bigger car or a van. Until I saw the Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL Car Seat...I showed my husband this picture (below) and we were both excited that there's actually a convertible car seat that can fit 3-across in a mid-size vehicle. And I was even more excited when I found out that I will have chance to review it.

However we did end up buying a new bigger car not because the car seat problem but because we found out we were having another girl. My husband really wants his baby boy so Baby #3 is not gonna be our last baby.

I was sent the RadianXTSL in Eclipse color. I'm really impressed with this car seat. You can really tell it's very well made and durable. I let my husband install it and he had no problem installing it. He thought it was pretty easy.

What I love about the RadianXTSL

  • It came full assembled. You don't have to do anything but add the infant support pillow.
  • I really like that you can have this car seat rear facing up to 45 pounds. We all know it is so much safer to have toddlers in rear facing position for as long as possible.
  • I can have my daughter in forward-facing in a 5-point harness for a very long time - up to 80 pounds. Libby is only 45 pounds so I know this car seat is definitely worth getting. It would be the only car seat I will ever need for her.
  • Very easy to install. My husband installed it using the SuperLATCH system and it only took minutes. The car seat feels very secure.
  • It's great for traveling. You can fold it flat and carry on your back. It even comes with a carrying strap. However it is a bit heavy.
  • It has 2 recline positions in forward-facing mode.

Radian XTSL Key Features

  • Rear-facing: 5 - 45 lbs
  • Forward-facing: 20 - 80 lbs (and up to 53") in a 5-point harness
  • Steel alloy frame and aluminum reinforced sides
  • SuperLATCH™ installation up to 80 lbs - no seat belt required
  • Easy-Tite™ adjuster for quick and easy tightening, installs in 1 minute
  • Adjustable head support, reinforced for complete side-impact safety
  • Energy-absorbing EPS foam panels on all sides
  • Safestop® energy-absorbing harness system
  • Rubber bottom grips for no-slip installation
  • 5 shoulder and 3 buckle positions for proper harness fit
  • Fits 3-across in a mid-size vehicle and offers more shoulder space
  • 3-in-1 infant/toddler full body support cushions
  • Memory foam padding for superior comfort
  • Folds flat for travel and storage, includes convenient carry strap
  • Sits low on vehicle seat for easy child boarding
  • Forward and rear facing tether system
  • 2 recline positions in forward-facing mode
If there's one thing others may complain about this car seat is that it's very heavy. For me though I don't think it's a negative. It's heavy because it's made of steel alloy frame and reinforced with aluminum sides. This is what makes this car seat safer.

GIVEAWAY

I'm so excited because one of you will have a chance to own this awesome car seat!

Virtual Baby Shower: ErgoBaby Carrier Review and Giveaway

I don't think anyone would understand my love for baby wearing unless they are a "baby wearing mom" also. I never used to be one until I had Emma. I fell in love with baby wearing when I first carried her in a wrap. Now 17 months later, I own about seven different kinds of carriers. I think I've tried most types of carriers out there, from a sling, wrap, soft, and framed carrier, I tried them all. Of course I have my favorites and the Ergo Baby Carrier is definitely one of my favorites for many reasons.

I've already tried the Ergo Carrier before I was even sent one to review. My sister has one and she let me used it for a while. I know I have to eventually give it back to her that's why I was so happy when I found out that I was going to review one.

You see once you try an Ergo Carrier, you kinda forget about your other carriers. The Ergo is the only carrier my husband doesn't really mine using. We both can carry our 17 month old and my 3 year old comfortably without any strain in our back. Our kids love being carried in it too!

I was sent the Organic Desert Bloom Baby Carrier to review and honestly the first time I've seen it, I thought it was an odd color. But I did like the prints of the inside lining and hood. After using it for a couple of weeks, I have gotten used to the color and I actually love it now.

So what do I love about the Ergo? First of all it's one of the most comfortable carrier I ever tried. Don't get me wrong, I love wrap carriers but when my daughter was about 8 months, it was not comfortable anymore. She was getting too heavy for it. Other carriers I've tried is only comfortable when my my daughter weigh less than 25 pounds, after that I could not carry her for a long period of time. But with the Ergo, I can probably carry Emma (27 lbs) all day without causing any strain on my back. And my husband can carry my 3 1/2 year old daughter all day without any problem.

The Ergo carrier is the only carrier I leave in the car. We don't bring strollers around so when we are out Emma is always being carried and the Ergo is definitely my choice of carrier to use to go out. The rest of my carrier, I leave at home if I have to carry her for short period of time.

My favorite features of the Ergo...

  • Very easy to put on. I honestly did not even read the direction. You can easily figure it out. There is only two buckles. One for the waist and the other one for your back or chest.
  • The shoulder straps are very well padded. I can carry my kids for a long time without hurting my shoulders. The whole straps are padded not just part of it. I have a lillebaby Everywear carrier and the one thing I hated about it is that the shoulder pads is adjustable, meaning you can pull it down or up but it always get twisted. But with the Ergo, I have no problem with the straps getting twisted since the whole things is padded. It's comfortable on my shoulder and my side back.
  • I love the pockets! The pocket is large enough for my wallet, car keys, and cell phone. It's perfect when I'm out grocery shopping. I can even put my coupons in there.
  • I can carry my daughter on the front, back or hips. I have only carried Emma once on my hip. I prefer carrying her on my back or front. But it's nice that you have that option.
  • It has a Sleeping hood with elastic which you can also use as a sun shade.
  • It is machine washable.
  • You can roll the straps and theres an elastic to hold it. I really like that feature because I hate it when there are long straps hanging everywhere...it annoys me!
  • It's been tested to carry up 90 pounds! I don't think I can carry my daughter when she's that heavy but its good to know I can use this carrier for a very long time.
I haven't used this carrier in an infant but I'm really excited to try it when Baby #3 comes. I just have to get the infant insert. There are also other accessories that you can buy with your Ergo. One of them that I really would love to get is the Back Pack. It easily snaps around the straps of the ERGObaby carrier, for an all-in-one baby carrier and day pack. And another one is the Doll Carrier. I showed it to Libby and now she wants one for her Baby GoGo.

GIVEAWAY

How would you like to win this awesome carrier? ERGObaby is giving ONE of my readers a carrier of your choice! (As long as it's available.)

Virtual Baby Shower: Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric Breast Pump Review

When I was pregnant with Emma, I knew I had to to get a breast pump when I go back to work. I wanted a double electric breast pump for faster pumping but hated the idea of paying so much for it. I wished I would have known about Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric Breast Pump. Not only they work just as great but they are way affordable than other double electric breast pumps out there.

Features:

  • Custom Expression TM Technology for maximum milk flow
  • Guaranteed to prevent milk backup in tubing & pump
  • One-touch let-down button
  • ComfortFit TM breast flanges for a soft, secure fit
  • Easy to use - easy to clean
  • Adjustable cycle & suction
  • Designed for everyday long term use at home or away
  • Built-in bottle holders to help prevent spills
  • AC adaptor or battery operated (6 AA batteries not included)
  • BPA Free
What I love about the Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric Breast Pump:

  • Very easy to assemble and use.
  • Very easy to clean. It does not have a lot of parts to wash. I don't have to worry about milk going to the tubing or the pump.
  • It has one touch let down button.
  • It tells you how long you have been pumping.
  • It's affordable. It only cost $150!
If there's one thing others will complain about this pump is that it does not come with a bag. But I really don't mind. I can always use my own bag and it's small enough to fit inside any of my bags.

Pediped Review

One of my favorite products to review on my blog is definitely kids shoes. I have two girls and soon to have three so I love getting them shoes to match their outfits. One of my favorite brand is no other than Pediped. I fell in love with their shoes when I reviewed a pair of their Flex shoes for Libby. It was not only cute but it was comfortable. It is one of Libby's favorite shoes. She's still using it now.

This time they sent me a pair from their Originals, the abigail shoe in pink. I just love this shoes. Emma can wear it with just about any outfit. It has velcro fasteners which makes it very easy to put on and take off. It is made with double layer of leather plus a foam pad on the soles for extra cushioning. I can really tell Emma is comfortable because she does not try to remove it when she in her car seat unlike her other shoes.

If you're looking for kids shoes, definitely check out Pediped. They recently launched their Adventure Line, an innovative collection of eco-friendly, machine washable, water-safe shoes. The new collection, an expansion of the popular pediped® Flex® line, offers style, protection and comfort both in and out of the water. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection is now available online at www.pediped.com and in select retail stores.

Oh how I wish we have a wooden swing set...

The weather has been really nice lately. My kids have been asking to go to the park almost everyday but I can't always take them by myself. I really wish we have a huge backyard to put a wood swing sets for my kids to enjoy. Unfortunately, our backyard is tiny...if I can even call it a backyard. I can't even have them go outside and run around.

So for now we just have to take them to the park if they want to play in the playground. I don't mind....The park is always been my kids favorite place to go. They can have fun for hours and the best part it's FREE! It's a lot better than staying home and watching TV all day.

But of course it would be really nice to have our own swing set in our backyard. It's definitely convenient. I guess we just have to wait until we buy our own home....

This pictures was taken last year...

Buddy Fruits Review

I recently had a chance to review Buddy Fruits. One Buddy Fruits equal to 1 fresh fruit. They have no preservatives, no colorings, no additives, no fat, no generic modification, no artificial flavorings, no dairy or gluiten. Each pouch is only 60 calories.

My kids are very picky eaters so I was not sure if they would like it. But I wanted to try them. Unfortunately, I could not convince Libby to try any of the squeezable fruit pouch . I had a feeling she would not try it because she hates anything puree or anything that looks like a baby food. However she did try the fruit bites which she loved! You can really tell that they are REAL FRUITS. I even like them.

But Emma tried both the squeezable fruit pouch and the real fruit bites and she loved them! Her favorite is the Apple & Multifruit flavor and the Raspberry Pure Fruit Bites. She's only one so it got a little messy. She tend to press it too hard and it overflows. And she hates when I try to help her. She's only one year old and she thinks she's a big girl!

What I like about them is that I can carry them in my diaper bag for snacks. I don't have to carry any spoons and they are resealable. They also don't have to be refrigerated. And of course they are healthy. I'm sure when Emma is a bit older, she can drink them without any mess.

Vera Bradley Review

I never heard of Vera Bradley until recently. I've seen few bloggers reviewed their products and I just love their bright colors and prints, specially their diaper bags. Although I did not get a chance to try one of their diaper bags, they did sent me a few things from their collections. I was sent an umbrella, a large Seashell Cosmetic bag in both Blue Lagoon print and a Large Tote in Indigo color.

You can definitely tell that they are very well made and durable. I love the print and the bright colors. The umbrella is very cute an stylish. It has One-touch opening and a coordinating sleeve. I can't wait to use it this spring. I just hope my kids won't break it before then because they love to play with it!

I don't carry a lot of make-up or cosmetics so the large Seashell Cosmetic bag is a little too large for me to carry around when going out. But I will definitely bring it with me when we go to Disney World in a couple of weeks. It has a double zipper opening with gusseted sides to prevent spills, and an easy-to-clean interior. It has plenty of room to put everything I need. It is also very cute. And I will also be taking this with me in the hospital when I give birth. It's perfect to put everything I need, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant and other things.

I love the Large Tote they sent me! It is huge! I will be taking this bag on our trip to Disney and it has so much room to put probably a week's worth of clothes. I tried looking for this bag on their website but I can't find it. But trust me this bag is awesome. It is very well made. The quality is great. It is perfect to bring when going to the beach or amusement parks. I will be taking this bag with me in the hospital also when I give birth in July.

However as much as I love them, I find them a little pricey. The umbrella is $32 and the cosmetic bag I reviewed is $28. The tote bag is $68. But you do get what you pay for. Like I said, they are durable and very well made. I can see them lasting for a long time.

I definitely recommend checking out Vera Bradley. They have everything from bags, totes, luggages, sunglasses, school and office supplies and so much more.

Virtual Baby Shower: Lovable Labels Review and Giveaway

Every time I turn around I see babies and toddlers have the same bottle, sippy cups, pacifiers and toys as my kids. I hate the thought off picking up the wrong bottle or sippy cup and giving it to them. So I label anything and everything that belongs to them.

For the past year I've reviewed a few personalized labels for my kids. And recently I had a chance to review another company called
Lovable Labels. I can honestly say Lovable Labels is by far my favorite labels I own. Although it is just like my other labels, they are dishwasher, microwave and laundry safe, their designs are so much cuter!

I was sent their
Ultimate Camp Pack in Nature Lover to review. Not only it comes in seven sizes but each one has different designs.

The Ultimate Camp Pack includes:
15 Regular Sticker Labels
40 Slimline Sticker Labels
72 Press n'Stick Clothing DOTS
12 Shoe Labels
2 Mini-Metal Tags (two 4” silver ball chains incld)
12 Square Labels

These labels are waterproof, dishwasher and microwave safe, laundry and dryer safe, sun safe, bleach safe, sunscreen safe and temperature safe. Their labels has very strong adhesions. They stick very well and does not come off very easily. This is very important specially with my kids who love to remove stickers and labels.

I have used them for a couple of weeks now and so far I have no problem with the labels coming off or fading. Even after many wash. Another reason I love Lovable Labels is that their labels comes in a little notebook with tabs. It makes it easy to find the labels you need and easy to organize. Unlike my other labels that came with a ziplock/plastic bag for storage.

GIVEAWAY

Lovable Labels has generously supplied us with a "Camp Pack" for one lucky winner! Thanks, Lovable Labels!

This giveaway ends just in time for Camp Season on March 28. The winner will be selected by random draw and will have 7 days to respond to our notification email before another winner is selected. This giveaway is open to Canadian and US residents only.

To Enter: Go to the Lovable Labels website and leave comment telling me which one of their amazing product is your fav!
