Zero Water Review and Giveaway

I've always used bottled water. I just hate the tap water taste. But for a couple of months now we have been using filtered water. I don't work as much anymore so we had to find ways to cut our grocery bills. We all know bottled water can be very expensive. Although I can still taste tap water taste with using our water pitcher filter, I have gotten used to it and it does not bother me anymore. My only concern is if it actually doing a good job filtering all the contaminants. That is why I still use bottled water for mixing my daughter's formula....Until I discovered Zero Water.

About ZeroWater® Pitcher

Zero Water® is the only filtered water from a pitcher that meets the FDA definition for purified bottled water.*

The Pitcher comes with the following products:
  • One ZeroWater® filter cartridge that removes contaminants that cause water to have an unpleasant taste.
  • An independently made TDS Meter to give you peace of mind that your ZeroWater® filter cartridges are working properly. It also lets you know when to replace the filters. When your water starts reading 006 it's time for a change.
  • The one-chamber Pitcher with lid has a pour spout, exclusive in-fridge push button dispenser and a special storage compartment for the TDS Meter.
  • More complete filtration than ordinary carbon filters
  • Clean, crisp taste
  • Includes one Pitcher, one filter, and one TDS meter.
When you purchase Zero Water, it comes with a TDS Meter which measures the amount of contaminant level. When it first arrived I tested our tap water, baby water and our filtered water. I was really surprise with the results. Our tap water tested 117 which is a typical range (51-200) and most water in the US falls into this group. I then tested the filtered water which resulted 73 , again a typical range (no wonder why it still tasted like tap water!) The baby water has 34 which has moderate contaminant level (2-50) but can still have dangerous impurities such as lead. And finally I tested Zero Water and the result is...ZERO!

Just with the result I was already convinced. I didn't even care how it will taste like. But even better because it is the best tasting water I ever tasted. It has a crisp clean taste! I know I will not be using any other pitcher but Zero Water. I have been using it to mix my daughter's formula for weeks now. It has already saved us a lot of money. I even got rid off our old pitcher filter!

You can purchase Zero Water in Target and Home Depot. Sign up HERE and get $30 savings. You can also "Like" them on facebook.

HearthSong: Magneatos Review and Giveaway

HearthSong specializes in outdoor toys, games, puzzles, arts & crafts, and so much more. You can find "toys you'll feel good about giving." They were kind enough to send me the Magneatos 72 piece set to review.

About Magneatos
These oversize, brightly colored magnetic balls and rods help even the youngest builders-to-be develop fine motor skills and explore simple problem-solving techniques.
A special-needs-adaptable product and winner of two toy awards, the 72-piece set introduces children to the concepts of magnetism, geometry, and physics.
For ages 3 and up.
Magneatos are like huge magnet blocks. Olivia has been playing with it everyday. She loves to build towers with it. Sometimes when Olivia plays with blocks she gets frustrated when she can't put it together. But with Magneatos it is very easy to put together. The magnet is very strong. Olivia has no problem building things. I love that the size is just right. Perfect for little hands. Even my 6 month old daughter joined the fun playing with Magneatos.

Aside from building towers Olivia has been having fun using her imagination creating dumbbells, microphone, lollipops and other things with her Magneatos. It has provided us hours and hours of fun. I can definitely see why it won the 2005 and 2006 Oppenheim Portfolio Award. If your kids like to build things using blocks, they will definitely love Magneatos! The only thing I wish is that it comes with a storage box or bag to store it when done playing.

Here's my nephew playing with Magneatos.

You can purchase the 72-Piece Set for $59.98 at HearthSong.com.

GIVEAWAY

HearthSong.com is giving one my readers their very own Magneatos 72 piece set!

Uneaks Review and Giveaway

Uneaks are the most fun and unique shoes I ever came across. Their shoes have clear side windows. You can change the look of your shoes just by simply changing your socks. That means your child can have a different look every day!

I was sent the Pink Suede Paris Z-Strap and a few pair of socks to review. My daughter loves her new shoes. She also loves her printed socks. She enjoys putting the socks on and matching them. You can purchase the socks in Uneaks.com but you can also use other colored or printed socks. The more fun and colorful the socks the better!

The Pink Suede Paris Z-Strap shoes is very comfortable. If Olivia is not comfortable she usually tells me or she takes it off but with the Uneaks shoes she has no problem wearing it all day. I love how easy it is to put on. The shoes that I was sent uses velcro instead of ties, perfect for Olivia since she does not know how to tie shoes yet. She can even put on the shoes by herself without help.

Bottom line I love Uneaks shoes! They are comfortable, easy to put on, affordable and fun. Your kids will love them. You can purchase Uneaks shoes for $34.99. They also offer free shipping on orders over $20.

Shop Online With CouponChief

I hate going to the mall with a toddler and an infant. That is why most of my shopping is done in the internet. I don't have to worry about long lines or my kids crying. Another good reason to shop online is I can look around different stores to compare prices. But before I hit that purchase button I always make sure I have a coupon code for percent off or even free shipping. However sometimes it is so difficult to find a code that actually works and I end up getting frustrated.

Recently CouponChief.com invited me to peruse their vast supply of coupons for the month of April. I'm really glad I was introduced to their site. Coupon Chief is one of the fastest growing coupon sites. They have over 50k coupons for over 15000 stores, giving them one of the largest databases of online coupons on the net.

What I like about CouponChief is that the site is very user friendly. You can search for a certain store or by tags (toys, shoes, jewelry etc). If you like the coupon you just click USE IT and it will take you to the store. During checkout, look for the special box that says coupon or promotional code and enter the code. You can then rate the code if it worked or not. This well help other users.

Here's the best part, I know a lot of deal bloggers love to share sales and coupons to their readers. Well here is your chance to share and earn as well with their pay2share program. You just have to sign up to their program and upload a coupon. Every time someone uses a coupon you've uploaded, Coupon Chief will give you 2% of the sales! Isn't that great?

Still not sure how it works? You can check their How It works Video and Fan CouponChief.com on Facebook.

Review: Vat19 Tickle Monster Laughter Kit

I never heard of Vat19 before until I started blogging and entering giveaways. Vat19 is an online source for "curiously awesome" products. It's a place to shop for unique and fun gifts. Most of their products has a video that shows you exactly what it is or how it works, making shopping for gifts easy and a lot of fun.

I was so thrilled when they sent me their Tickle Monster Laughter Kit to review. The kit comes with a beautiful sturdy box with a hardcover copy of the Tickle Monster Book and a pair of soft, cuddly tickling mitts. Olivia was so excited to see it. She wanted me to read the book to her right away.

The mitts has whole for your fingers to make it easy for you to turn pages and for tickling. The illustrations are bright and colorful. I also love the rhyming story. Reading the book for the first time was a lot of fun. I love how each page gives suspense and excitement because the child does not know which part of the body the monster will tickle next. Before I can even turn the page Olivia would move far from me and start giggling...it is the cutest thing! Every time we read the book she has to wear her bunny hat (size 6 month!) because she says she's the bunny in the story!

And when you're done reading you can store it back to the box. You don't have to worry loosing any pieces.

Below is a video from the website

You can purchase Tickle Monster Laughter Kit at Vat19 for $34.95. It would make a perfect gift for any occasions!

Boon Inc. Flo Review and Giveaway

I was recently sent a Flō from Boon Inc to review. Flō is a water deflector and protective faucet cover. It also functions as a bubble bath dispenser. I was really excited to be given a chance to review it. Olivia loves to take a bath. Bath time is like play time for her. But one thing she hates is when washing her hair. She hates when water gets on her face. Since her hair is long it usually takes me a long time to rinse her hair.

The Flō easily attaches to your faucet. What I love is that there is no assembling required. It has a whole on the top which allows access to shower diverter so you don't have to keep removing it when you're taking a shower or if it is not being used. When the water is turned on, it’s diverted into a stream that extends up to 12 inches in front of the faucet, creating a gentle waterfall and making rinsing hair very easy. The soft material on the front edge of Flō helps protect against injuries caused by bumping or scraping against the faucet.

The first time we used the Flō Olivia had so much fun playing in the water. The best part is that it was so easy to rinse her hair without getting water on her face. And when she leaned back to have her hair wash I did not have to worry hitting her head against the faucet.

If you are looking for a faucet cover, I highly recommend Boon Flō. It's not only functional but also fun! And affordable too! You can get one for $14.99.

Label Daddy Review

I recently had the opportunity to review Label Daddy. I was sent their Combo Pack labels in their new Cinderella Disney Design. Olivia loves anything princesses, so she was so happy to see the labels. She keeps calling them stickers!

The Combo Pack includes their most popular label sizes. More than 200 labels!
  • 75 Extra Small Label
  • 80 Small All Purpose Label
  • 50 Medium All Purpose Label
I have been using the labels for more than a week now. I've labeled Olivia's sippy cups, snack cups, sweaters and jackets. I find that this labels are very good quality. It sticks well. It was very easy to apply. You simply peel n' stick. I've washed her sippy cups and snack cups many times and I have no problem with the labels coming off or peeling. Their labels are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and washer & dryer safe. The labels they sent me was laminated which protect the labels from chemicals that might cause the labels to smear. So far it's doing a great job because the labels are good as new even after many washes.

There are a lot of other kids label companies out there. I even own a couple of them. But what I love about Label Daddy is that you can customize your labels with Disney characters. Why label your kids belongings with just plain labels if you can label it with fun characters that they love. After all, it's their stuff we are labeling. I certainly don't know any kids who doesn't love Disney characters...do you?

If you're looking for labels, Label Daddy is definitely worth checking out. Aside from the Combo Pack I received, they also have Camp Pack and School Pack. They also carry AllergyNotes. They even have spice labels, return address labels, luggage labels and so much more!
