Silk Pure Almond Review and Giveaway

I was recently contacted by Silk to try their latest product, Pure Almond. We regularly buy Silk Soy Milk but we never tried their Pure Almond before. So I was very excited to try them.

Benefits of Almonds:

Each glass provides an excellent source of natural antioxidants, and as much calcium and vitamin D as dairy milk, with absolutely no cholesterol, saturated fat, dairy or soy. Best of all, a serving of Silk Pure Almond Original almondmilk is only 60 calories, and a delicious glass of Vanilla is just 90. A serving of almonds provides an excellent source of vitamin E (a natural antioxidant), and a good source of protein and fiber.

New to nuts? Not to worry. Almondmilk really can go everywhere:

  • Splash almondmilk on your favorite cereal. Good morning, antioxidants!
  • Have you tried an almondmilk latte? Prepare to get hooked.
  • Whirl up a smoothie with Silk Pure Almond and your favorite fruit. (Throw in a handful of crushed almonds if you’re feeling extra nutty.)
  • Almondmilk cooks and bakes to perfection, and can be substituted for milk in many recipes. Discover soups, cakes, muffins and more – with fewer calories than you’d think.

I was not surprise that we enjoyed the Silk Pure Almond Original and Vanilla since we already drink and love their soy milk. The vanilla was a little too sweet for me so I prefer the Original. However both my husband and Olivia loved the Vanilla flavor. I love that you can use Silk Pure Almond just like you would use regular milk. You can use it with your cereals or smoothies. I even used the vanilla as a creamer. My coffee never tasted so good with it! You have to try it!

  1. I learned that almond milk is super low in calories!

"Smooth, refreshing and indescribably yummy, our almondmilk goes everywhere milk goes – from cereal to coffee to straight up in a glass – but with fewer calories than 1% milk"

  2. I was suprised to learn it has as much calcium and vitamin D as milk. I never thought that almond or soy (which I drink) had calcium at all.
